Dry Wine

Ellis Red Reserve... Earthy, off-sweet, tannic. Spicy foods (Pizza, Mexican) Pepper Jack, Dill Havarti, &Cheddar Cheese  
        

White Spring… Fruit-forward, crisp, green. Goes well with: Grilled Fish, Chicken, Cheddar, Muenster, and Baby Swiss
                                

White Spring Reserve Acidic, racy, gold. Goes well with: Pork, Salad, Vegetables, Cheddar, Muenster, and Baby Swiss Cheese  

 


  

Semi Sweet Wine

Matthew RedFull bodied, astringent, mouth filling. Goes well with: Meats, grilled vegetables, Sharp Cheddar  & Havarti Dill Cheese
                     

Matthew Red Reserve... Robust, clean, grapey. Goes well with: BBQ (pork & chicken), Pepper Jack, Muenster and Cheddar Cheese  


Blush Plantation Reserve
Ripe, rich florals, smooth. Goes well with: Smokey Foods, Cheddar, Colby Jack, Muenster, and Baby Swiss Cheese

Our Wines

Ellis Red Reserve- This is our dry red wine. Most people think all muscadine wines are sweet, but this is about as dry as you can get a muscadine wine without having a bitter after-taste.

White Spring- This is made from a scuppernong grape, a variety in the Muscadine family. Most people who have grown up knowing this grape, recognize the taste and aroma immediately.

White Spring Reserve- This is our dry white wine made from the Doreen grape. It has been researched to have benefits in inhibiting the growth of breast cancer cells.

Matthew Red- This is a semi-sweet wine.

Matthew Red Reserve- This is our semi-sweet red, a blend of red grapes including the Regal, which was produced by NCSU and FSU. A very light wine that leaves a clean after-taste.

Blush Plantation Reserve- This is our semi-sweet blend of the Doreen grape and red grapes including the Regal. 

Willow White Reserve- This is our sweet white wine made with the Doreen grape. It has a good sweet taste without tasting syrupy. Is a dessert wine, very good chilled.

Revolution Red Reserve- This is our sweet red wine made from a blend of our red grapes also including the Regal. This won a medal at the NC State Fair last October. This is one of our most popular wines.

Blackberry Semi-dry Reserve- This wine is made from blackberries grown on our family farm and, no artificial flavors or colors added. This wine is for those who enjoy a drier wine, leaves a tart finish. This also won a medal at the NC State Fair last October.

Blackberry Sweet Reserve- Just like the Semi-dry blackberry, this wine is made from blackberries grown on-site. It has a prominant blackberry taste, leaving a smooth finish.

Peach Reserve- This wine is made from real peaches grown on our family farm. The peach taste hides at first but gives you a sweet peachy finish on the back of your tongue.

Apple Reserve- This wine is made from apples grown on our family farm, mostly wine sap apples with a blend of golden and red delicious. Sweet and savory.

All of our Reserve wines are made on-site with ingredients grown on our family farm. All of our fruit wines are picked and processed by hand.
